The lovely terraced south-facing rear garden contains a variety of interesting plants and shrubs, and enjoys a pretty and relaxing aspect down towards the river which runs by the end of the garden. Garden furniture is provided. There are steep steps leading to the garden which unfortunately make it unsuitable for toddlers. Llangrannog is situated on the Cardigan Heritage Coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty with spectacular scenery and many Coastal Paths, where dolphins and seals are frequently seen from cliff tops or nearby boat trips. There is also a cliff top dry ski slope in Llangrannog.

Solva is a charming village set around a cosy harbour and with direct access to the Coastal Path. There are several pubs in the village (all of which serve food), a village store an excellent craft shop and galleries. In 1848 there was a passenger service from Solva Harbour to New York which could take up to 17 weeks and cost £3! St Davids (3m) is Britain's smallest city and well worth a visit to see the magnificent cathedral nesting in the valley. Newgale (4m) is an excellent surfing beach as is Whitesands beach (4m). The coastal bus service runs past the end of the road, making it a perfect base for walkers.
