Nearby are Newport Beach and the coastal path as well as the town of Newport with several excellent places to eat, pubs, shops and galleries. There are some beautiful walks from the cottage through the woods to Newport Beach or to Felindre where there is a pub for refreshments. Also close by are riding stables, an Iron Age Fort and the Preseli Hills. This house has been fitted to a high standard throughout.

The closest beach is about half a mile away and the 7 miles of Cefn Sidan Sands are just 15 minutes away as are Pembrey Country Park and Ffos Las racecourse. In the village there is a lovely pub which serves good food and also has a health and beauty spa! Carmarthen is about 10 minutes away and has a good selection of shops. Ferryside has a train station and is on a bus route making it ideal for those wishing to travel without a car. The cottage is particularly suited for a couple or a very small family.
Situated in the village of St Dogmaels close to Poppit Sands and the Teifi estuary, this comfortable detached bungalow makes an excellent holiday base. There are 4 pubs within walking distance, all of which serve food. The coastal path can be joined at the end of the lane, as can a coastal bus service for walkers. Cardigan is 2 miles away and has a good range of shops, banks and pubs etc. You will probably even spot seals and dolphins in Cardigan Bay.

Abercastle beach is 6 miles and Newgale 7. Fishguard town is about 6 miles away and St Davids and Newport are both 12 miles. There are several beaches within easy reach, you can walk to Aberporth and drive to Tresaith, Llangrannog, Penbryn and Mwnt within 20 minutes. Cardigan town and Aberaeron both have a good selection of individual shops, galleries and restaurants.
