Enjoying a pleasant location high above St Dogmaels with views of the river Teifi towards Cardigan and the ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey, this delightful cottage makes a great retreat for couples or a small family.  The coastal path is easily accessed and the beaches of Poppit Sands and Ceibwr are a short drive or a good walk away.   The village is a short walk and has 3 pubs, a village shop and a wonderful estuary walk to Cardigan.  The cottage has been carefully and thoughtfully restored over the last few years.

Black Rock Boathouse enjoys a wonderful location right on the water front at Dale beach.  Dale is famous for it's watersports with sailing and windsurfing being very popular here.  At the end of the bay is St Anne's Head with a lighthouse that guides shipping into Milford Haven Waterway.  Marloes beach is close by and you can take a boat trip from Martins Haven to the bird islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm where you will see numerous breeds including Puffins, Gannets, Shearwaters and Choughs.  Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is accessed right outside the property and begs to be walked.  The Griffin pub in the village  serves good food.

Children may like to watch the feeding of the baby calves from August onwards. Viewing of cows being milked by arrangement.

The golden sands of Broad Haven beach stretch for about half a mile along the length of the village and at low tide you can walk around to the next bay at Little Haven. The Coastal Path is easily accessible and the village amenities are all within walking distance. To the rear of the property is an area of marshland, inhabited by various breeds of bird, which is being developed by the local community with the help of the National Trust.

This cottage enjoys a great location between Parrog Beach and the centre of Newport, making a perfect retreat at any time of the year.  Newport nestles at the foot of Carningli (mount of angels) and Parrog beach which is a 5 minute walk and is great for crabbing and boating.  Traeth Mawr beach is just across the river Nevern, a tidal river which can be crossed at low tide if you are careful and brave!  If not it is a 5 minute drive.  Within a few minutes walk of the cottage you can enjoy stunning walks along the coastal path, a great range of eateries, galleries, small shops and pubs.

Situated in the village of Furnace, close to the Furnace falls, Ynys Hir Nature Reserve, the Dovey Estuary and the scenic Artists Valley, this large former village smithy grade 2 listed building makes a fabulous holiday base.   The thriving market town of Machynlleth is 6 miles north and Aberystwyth is 12 miles south.   Aberdovey is a half hour drive with stunning scenery along the way.  Borth, 6 miles away, boasts one of Ceredigion's longest and most golden of beaches - stretching over two miles to Ynyslas and the Dyfi National Nature Reserve.  There is a pub within 2 miles and a fine dining restaurant 10 minutes walk away.   This really is a beautiful part of the world and well worth exploring.
