This charming stone cottage is set along a quiet lane within the village of Newport in the heart of the National Park. The cottage is in a small row of similar traditional cottages which are within a few minutes walk of the nearby village shops, restaurants, pubs and Parrog Beach. There is a lovely walk to Newport Sands. The Preseli Hills form a backdrop to the village and along with the Coastal Path are extremely popular with enthusiastic walkers and naturalists.
The entrance opens into the beamed ceilinged dining room, which features an inglenook fireplace and stone open fire, it is attractively furnished with dining table and chairs. The lounge is also furnished in a cottage style, containing three piece suite, colour TV, occasional furniture and a woodburning stove. The kitchen has a newly fitted kitchen with a range of white kitchen units, electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, washing machine and separate drier. The bathroom is on the ground floor and contains bath with overhead shower, wash hand basin and WC. The three bedrooms are on the first floor. The master bedroom contains a pine double bedstead; the second room has pine twin beds, and the third bedroom a single pine bed. Bedlinen is provided for the beds which have duvets. Cot and highchair are available. Full gas central heating throughout and gas and electricity charges are included in the rental. To the rear of the cottage there is an enclosed garden which has a sunny patio with steps leading to a lawned area. There is limited parking for one car in the quiet lane in which this cottage is situated. One pet is welcome by arrangement. There is also a payphone. Towels are available on request - £3 per guest.
